Early Life
Welcome to biography home page. My name is Laim Len, born 19 September 1991, at countryside in Samrong village, Khnar Po commune, Sotnie Korm district, Siem Reap province, Cambodia. Samrong village is a countryside of Siem reap. It is about 45 km from Siem Reap town. My parents are farmers. I have got two brothers and three sisters. I am a third child in family. When I was child I was looking after several cows and working in the farm with parents, sister and brother.
Education
- September 1999: Enrolled Sombat primary school next to village where is about 4 km from home by walking everyday. Studied only one day at grade one then enrolled grade two for a half month.
- October 1999: Moved to Siem Reap town studied at Mork Neark secondary school in Siem Reap town. Enrolled grade three.
- August 2003: Finished grade 6 from Mork Neark secondary school.
- September 2003: Enrolled Cosmopolitan Siem Reap junior high school (present called Hun Sen Siem Reap high school) opposite Mork Neark secondary school at grade 7.
- August 2006: Graduated from Cosmopolitan Siem Reap Junior high school.
- September 2006: Enrolled at 10 January High School in Siem Reap town grade 10.
- 2006-2009: Started to learn English at Wat Thmei Pagoda.
- September 2008 - August 2009: Enrolled at SOS School
- February 2010: Studied Business Management at Build Bright University in Siem Reap.
- January 2011 to present: Moved to live in Phnom Penh, stay at Wat Ounalom Pagoda with monks, Study at Medical at University of Health and Science
- 2011: Studied French at Instutut Français in Phnom Penh
- 1999 to 2011: Was living with brothers, sisters, and cuisines in Siem Reap about 15 people in the small of uncle's house.
Early Career and Achievement Charities
- September 2009 to Present: Established and founder of Samrong Village School of Opportunity in home land free education.
- October 2010: Was doing volunteering at Angkor Children Hospital in Siem Reap as translator.
- 2012 to Present: Representative of One Degree Forward Organization for Cambodia.
Meeting
In 2005, I met Prof. Charles DiBella by Siem Reap river. He is so great and wonderful person that I never met before. He changes my thinking, life,.. and give free education to me. I respect him so much.
Future Goals
- Looking for scholarship to study oversea. It is the best thing to build higher education.
- To become best doctor who could safe life of people.
- To see all people could get good education and health care.
Present Life
- Live and stay with monks in Wat Ounalom Pagoda in Phnom Penh.
- Study medical at University of Health and Science.
- Study English at ACE
- Study French at CCF
